Your Local River – Show up and Share Your Views!

Groundwork North East, Tees Rivers Trust and Environment Agency are working together to create the Tees Catchment Plan.  This plan will look at how rivers and becks are managed and how together we can improve our rivers for people and wildlife.

We want to know what you think about your local rivers and becks and how you use them.  We want your memories of a particular stretch of river; what you enjoy and what improvements you’d like to see.

We’re planning on running a number of fun, informative events to get your thoughts which may help us form aspects of the plan. There will be the chance to win

The events in your area will start at 6.30pm until 8.30pm at the following locations:

  • Yarm Youth and Community Centre, TS15 9BQ – Thursday 28th March 2013
  • Ingleby Barwick Community Centre, TS17 0YL – Monday 8th April 2013
  • River Tees Watersports Centre, TS18 2NL – Tuesday 9th April 2013
  • Elm Tree Community Centre, TS19 0UW – Wednesday 13th March 2013
